Just put a set of new Vintique 16" rally wheels on my '67 SS. Look great, but was hoping to find chrome trim rings similar-looking to those made for the stock 15" rally wheels. Vintique only makes/sells narrow trim rings. Have been told some early-70's 16" Chevy truck trim rings may do the trick. Anybody know what will fit and where to buy? In the Dallas/Fort Worth area? Anywhere?

Hey RobRoy, do you have a photo shot of your car with new wheels? What width and offset is your wheels? What size tires are you running? Do they rub anywhere? I'm looking at vintiques also, salesman I spoke with told me both trim rings were available for 16", but none for 17".

GM had a set of WV's 17's on their '67 Z-28 showcar. The hoop is chrome and the center is silver. It's cheating, but effective.

I too spoke with the Vintique salesman about a month ago. He told me that the narrow trim rings they supply are the only ones available. The are about 1/2 the width of the stock trim rings. Not bad, but not stock-looking.

I bought the 16x8 Wheel Vintiques rally wheels and got them with painted center and chrome rim. To the casual observer, they look stock and I didn't have to mess with the trim rings at all.

I spoke with VW today about the corvette 32 series chrome rallye. He told me the whole rim was chrome, even where the slots are. This is 15x8 rim though.

Quick question...Will a 15x8 with 4.5" backspacing rub or not on the front with 235/60/15?
