Ordering new 15x8 rims for rear of my 67. Do I need a 4" backspace or a 4.5" backspace?

I am installing P25560R15 on them.

The rims I have now are 15x7 with P23560R15. I have about 1/2"-3/4" clearance from the lower shock mount.

Do any of you guys driving a 67 have this combo? What backspacing should I spec?

4.5 on a 8 inch wheel, works well.

4 or 4.5, on a 67-68,with stock wheelwells.

I have 15x8 Vette Ralleys with a 4" back spacing and 255/60/15 BFG's with no problems what so ever. I have also used these same wheels a run a 295/50/15 BFG with no problems on both my 68 and the current 67 that I have.

Yes I have pic's and will send them your way tonight. I am running a 15x5 ralley (from a 65 Caprice) on the front with a 26/7.5/15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman tire. Looks good when I have the trim rings and caps on them.
