I've decided to put my 67 back as close to original as I can but I'm having trouble locating stock steel wheels.

Anyone know a source of 14x5 plain old steel wheels, the kind that Camaros with hubcaps and wheel covers used?

Every 1st gen Camaro I see has rally wheels, even though this was a fairly rare (expensive) option from the factory, there must be piles of the original skinny wheels out there, why can't I find them?

Put up a wanted add on this site, someone will give them to you for free, you'll have to cover shipping, many guys just throw them in the trash. Junk yards will have them cheap too, you shouldn't pay more than 5-10.00 a rim, sand blast'em up and paint. Sorry I threw mine out the day after I bought my car.

Yea, this is just one of many things I've thrown away from this car since I bought it in 1975. Who knew I'd get so old I'd want to get rid of the chrome reverse wheels and headers and go back to wheel covers and stock exhaust. LOL

By the way, I'd REALLY like to find a clean set of the optional mag style wheel covers, or even the standard type.
