This request is from someone who emailed me but I cannot answer for sure. He owns a 67 Z. The email he sent is as follows: "I have the original DF rims with f70-15's bias ply repros. But I purchased some repro 15x7
corvette rallys and some p245/60/15's for a little wider look street driving. The 245's seem to be too wide for the front fender well, and rub when turning.I have tried to research what size radial I should use
(height and width) and keep the speedo as accurate as possible.I am guessing
now, 215/70/15,perhaps ? I would appreciate some help om this as I am sure many people have done this conversion."

The problem is that there is NO direct radial replacement for the old tire sizes that came on Camaros. I just went through this with the 7.35x14 tires on 14x5 wheels that were standard on mine.

The '67 Z's came with 15x5½ wheels wearing 7.35x15 nylon red stripe tires. There's nothing that directly equals that size in modern tires. A direct translation would work out to something like P195/85R15 which of course doesn't exist. Closest to original would be something like 205/75R15's.
