WHat size torque thrust II's will fit on a 69 . I am thinking of 16 or 17in rims

i have 18's my pic is in the exchange...it the orange 69
17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear will fit

I run 16x7 up front and 16x8 in back with 225 and 255 rubber respectively.

My wife has 17/8 on the front and 17/9.5 rear. I have 17/7 front and 17/8 rear, in my oppinion if your car is going to be lowered a couple of inches go with the smaller. The 275/40s on the rear of here car do not fill the wheel well at all. If you want the bigger ones I would recomend 17/8 front with a 4 5/8" BS and 17/9.5 with 5" BS you may still have to slightly trim the rear lip for clearance. any more BS on the rear and you will rub on inside when turning into driveways or sutch. I have 17/7 with 4 1/2 front and 17/8 with 4 5/8 rear and they fit perfect.
