Since I have had several e-mails as to the size and backspacing of the 17" wheels/tires on my 69, here's what it is.

I have 17X8" with 4.75" b.s. and 245/45-17 Goodyear F1's on the front. Unaltered wheelwells and no interference problems at all.

The rears are 17X9.5 with 5.75" b.s. and 275/40-17 F1's. These rub SLIGHTLY on the INSIDE of the tire/wheelwell if you hit a driveway at a slant; otherwise no interference problems. My guess is that 5.5" b.s. would have eliminated this.

I have pictures at my photopoint account but they're not very good. I will be buying a new digital camera this weekend and will replace many of the pics.

hey hey, question for ya...

Are those wheels on the stock suspension/ride height? Those are the exact wheels I want, my only prob is I have hotchkis 2" drop springs in front, think it will still clear? THanks for the info..

Jared,

The car is fairly low but I bought it that way. With the 17" wheels/tires it's 25.5" from the ground to the bottom center of the wheelwell.
