Need some help..I just purchased a 68 camaro which was just restored...The problem is that The car has 215/60/15 on 7" rims in the front and 275/60/15 on 8" rims in the rear...And the rear tires rub something fierce....I have been told that 235/60/15 will fit perfectly in the rear...is this correct...How much smaller is the 235 compared to the 275...I need it thinner and shorter..Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance

I agree with crash69 on the rear, but the fronts are 215 max with a BB, maybe one size larger with a SB

Dino, I disagree. I run 235/60/15's on the front of my 69' BB car, with new BB coil springs and shocks, not even a hint of rubbing.

Ive got 235/60/15 on 7 inch in the front and 255/60/15 in the rear on 8 inch wheels. with a 454 with cast iron heads. no trouble with scrubbing either end.

275's should have been fine, b/s on wheels might be off,or rear not located properly...
could also be weak springs ?
