I need help. I have an a complete set of 5 original 69 Camero wheels & caps. These are from my grandfathers car. He changed rims about 1 year ago and gave me the old ones. I have no idea what to do with them and have no idea what they are worth. Does anyone out there have any idea. These are the stock rims that were on the car when it was purchased.

Adko, Welcome to the site! Of course the answer is "it depends" http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif Original GM wheels are stamped with a date code(s) and and application code on either side of the valve stem hole. Get those numbers & letters, post them here and then the fellow board members can give a guesstimate. If they are desirable ones, they will want to buy them too. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif

Oh Yea, don't spell camaro with an "E", it raises some hackles here. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif

The numbers next to the valve stem are:

K18 10 23 FC

Thank you for all the help.

adko, you do indeed have a set of original 69 rims. They are 14X6 used on all 4 drum 69 camaros. The date code is Oct 23 1968. They would work on my driver, but the date code is just past my build date. There should be someone out there that could use your set.

Rally wheels 14X6 (these are not) go for around $25 (and up) ea, so you should shoot for the $50 to $75 range for the set. This is of course a guess. That's were I would feel comfortable purchasing them.

Put an ad on this site for them and see what happens. Kevin
