The rear wheels should fit fine with standard 4 inch backspace. The fronts might rub a bit if your car is lower than stock height. You might want to consider 4.5 inch backspacing for the front.

Hotrod76,

Click on the link to see my car.

This car has 215/50 BF Goodrich Comp TAs on 15X7 inch rims (front) with 4.5 inches backspacing. On the rear I run the same make tire in 265/50 on 15X8 rims with 4.75 inches backspacing.

The rear tires slightly protrude from the wheel wells. The front tires have no clearance problems but my car has not been lowered.

Choptop,

Your car looks like it has a slight raise to it. Are you using stock small block front springs and multileaf rear springs?

Yes and No!

I have stock small block springs up front (I think- the previous owner put 'em in) and the original monoleafs out back. What I do have is adjustable air shocks in the back with the pressure turned up a little to compensate for the sagging springs!

Not a good fix, I know, but I am planning to convert to mutileaf drop springs (also new drop springs for the front).

Do you think the car looks abnormally tall up front?

Actually I like the look. My car sits low due to old springs and I was wondering what it would look like with new springs. I also have a monoleaf in the rear of my 67 and hope that a monoleaf replacement will lift it a bit!
