what are the meatiest tire that i can put on to my 67 camaro? right now i have 265/r15. this car is a street car and is driven almost everyday.

I have/had old fashioned L-60/14's under the back of my car for years.

They are mounted on 9" slotted mag's. I've posted what the backspacing is but just don't remember it right now, seems like 3.75"???

Anyway, section width is 11.75" at 26.5" tall. Had to use shock helper springs to raise her up to keep from rubbing but I still think that it looked fine. IMHO.

I really want to run a 295-50/r16 on 10" rims but doubt if I can??? I think 4.75" BS might allow it but don't know.

If looking at the front, consider only a 7" wide wheel because at 4.5" BS should fit almost like stock. pdq67
