Hi team. I have a 68 camaro that I'm putting the finishing touches on. I need to know what is the correct color of the spare tire's rim. Is it black or the argent silver?2nd question is what color is the jack base that goes on top of the spare tire?? and also I have a f70-14 spare tire, this should be correct for a 68 right?

thanx in advance

Don

RPO N65 (space saver spare tire ) 7.35 X 14 whitewall was used to replace the F70X14 red or white stripe spare

Camaros built with the standard spare tire had 5 matched wheel/tire assemblies.

If the car had wheel covers, the wheels were black. If the car had hub caps the wheels were body color. Rally wheels were argent (silver); some body-color wheels may have been done.

Jack components were a light semi-gloss gray. The wrench was a semi-gloss black. The jack mast was plated; I've seen clear and gold cad. Correct jack paint is available.

The space-saver spare was optional on any Camaro built with 14" wheels.
