I know this has been discussed before BUT I have not been able to see a straight answer.

I am planning to install new rubber on the stock 15" RIMS. Wondering if they will fit and clear.

Front
255/60/R15 25.6" tire

Back
275/60/R15 28" tire
I have a .5" alumin. spacer I can use or remove.

Thanks.

I am in the process of getting my new 17"s mounted with 245/45/17 tires, about the same tire height but not as wide for the front. I'm going with 18" on the back with 275/40/18 tires. I am told that the fender lip has to be "rolled" to allow clearance. I have not fit them yet. That is about as wide as I have heard of in the back without major mods. As far as height in the rear I know you can run 28"x10" slicks because I am looking at a set of those just for fun. As far as the front I have not seen anything wider than 245 with stock suspension. If you want to figure out tire width and height go to www.americastire.com/tireMath.html, (http://www.americastire.com/tireMath.html,) they have the formulas set up just punch in the numbers.

I run 275/60/15 BFG on the rear with no problems.

Any spacer? And no rub of the shock in the rear?
