I just bought a real nice set of used 17 wheels and tires for my 68. The tires are 275-40-17 and the tires are a little too short at only 25" tall. Is there a size avaible about 27" tall and 11" wide for the 17" wheels?

Thanks Mark, I,ve been to their (Nitto) web site, but it is messed up or something. In the tire height column they have how wide it is rather than how tall. Anyone know of any good sites with lots of sizes/brands listed.
Thanks

I couldn't find a XXX/50-17" tire family. But, I'm sure that they have to be made somewhere (?). pdq67

Thanks Scott, that Tirerack is a good site, but the tallest I could find there was a 285/40/17. I checked before I bought the 17s and found a couple of sizes over 25.5' tall and 10.5 to 11 wide, but now I cant find them.

Try calling. I have seen ads with 50 series tires in a 17" size.

I have problems with clearance in front and bakc of the front fender when im turning the wheels and my tires are 25.5" in diameter. 235/45 17". It is about 1 millimeter when im turning. And the tires expands alot at high speed aswell. So i wonder how some of you can fit in a 27" large wheel?

I have a RS 68.
Thanks
