Does anyone know if a 15x8 with 4.5 inch backspacing fit on the rear of a 69 Camaro with out rubbing on the inside or outside and if so what tires sizes i'm thinking like 245 60

I'm pretty sure a 245 60 will fit in the rear on that size rim. I think the widest tire with that rim is a 255 60 without any modifications. Does anyone else know for sure?

Anyone else with this set up?

I'm not 100% sure on the smaller wheels, but I think it will work with only a 245 tire. I've seen people put 275/60 15 before, but they had more bs. And you'll have to rull the fender lip.

I am running that same wheel size with 275/60's but I had to put a 1/4" backspacer in to keep them from rubbing inside. You should be alright with 245's but it will be close.

I got my hands on 2 15x8 Crager SS/T that a buddy had (brand new)on the backside where wheel meets the drum measuring toward the inside using a straight edge on the edge of the rim I've got 4.25 I'm hoping these will work with 245 60s
