I saw a set on a 1968 convertible, with 235/45 on the front and 255/45 on the rear.

Would this setup work on a 67 convertible without modification? Why the fatter tires in the back? Does anyone know a source for the rims? Thanks!

That setup should work. I have the 16" Rallys, but in all honesty, I can't wait to get rid of them. I have 255/50/16's all the way around and each tire/wheel weighs 75 lbs together. That slowed me down 3/10's in the 1/4 mile compared to the aluminum 15"s I had before. My steering also became less responsive. The 17" Rally's would be even heavier. You can get them from Summit, but when I received mine, I had to send 3 wheels back because they weren't round. Maybe I was just unlucky....but I'll never buy any of Wheel Vintiques' products again.

Then again, Wheel Vintiqes makes Billett, although pricey. I think they were around $325 each for 17's.
