I'm looking for buy these rims for my 69. I was looking at 15x8 all around. The tires that are going on are 225/6015 in front and 255/60/15 in rear.

Anyone think there is an issue with this? Should I go with a 15x7? Or will 15x8 good. What are the torque specs for these aluminum rims?

Thanks in advance.

15X8's will probably be an issue. You need at least 4.5-4.75" of backspacing; these like most American rims http://www.camaros.net/forum/mad.gif only have 3.75" of backspacing. The 15X7's will fit fine.

I checked and the AR 15x7 are also a 3.7" backspace. What are your thoughts?

Yes, they work fine. The problem is only with the 8" wheels. Just went through this with a friend's 69 and 15X8" TTII's which have the exact same b.s. Even with the wheelwell lip rolled under it still rubbed. Ended up ordering a custom offset.
