I have a 69 camaro and I would like to run a set of 275/50/15 BFG Drag Radials out back. Does anyone know if they fit or are they to wide.

We just took a set of 275/50-15 street radial T/A's off my friends 69 and are replacing them with 275/60-15 drag radials. He had the 50's mounted on 15X8" TTII's with 5" b.s. and a 1/4" spacer (he'll be switching to rear discs so he needs the spacers for now). Depending on how low the car is he had very minor rubbing on the inside wheeltub that didn't hurt anything. He only noticed it when he removed the wheels/tires. He has the stock unaltered wheelwell moldings (no rolled outer fender lip).

So I'd say with drum brakes and a 15X8" wheel with 4.75" b.s they'll clear, but it's close.
