I have a 67 camaro and on the rear I have 8x15's with a 4 1/2 inch offset right now. I would like to put some 10x15's on. Will 10x15's with a 5 inch offset work?

If your wheel stuck out 1.5" further than it does now would it clear your fenders? That's where a 10" wheel with 5" backspacing will be. I'm positive the wheel and tire would be outside the fender and you'd need airshocks to keep the fenders from slicing them up. The only way would be with about 5.75-6" of backspacing and re-locating the lower shock mounts. Then you'd still have a problem with a tire fitting.

We just put some 275/60-15 Drag Radials on 15X8" TTII's with 5" of backspacing on a 69 and that's about as big as I see fitting without cutting and moving things.

How do the drag radials hook up? I'm thinking about buying some myself.

These were put on my friend's 69 that we just put a ProCharger and six speed into. I haven't ridden in it since the tire change but he said they made a pretty big difference over the radial T/A's he had on there before.

I've used them on several high hp cars and although they still spun, the car was much more controllable and they were definitely hooking better than a standard street tire. If this were a more strip than street or maximum traction was wanted, I'd go with an E.T. Street or Hoosier Quicktime Pro. They just aren't as streetable as the drag radials in my opinion, but will out-perform them.
