275/60/15 for example.
25.4mm per inch.<--conversion.
aspect= sidewall ( be sure to use decimal point)
width= over all,not just the tread.
heitht=aspect x width =( ? ) x 2 + rim size

width= 275/25.4 = 10.8"
height= 10.8 x .60 = 6.48
6.48 x 2 = 12.96
12.96 + 15 = 27.96"

Doug- Thanks for posting the tire math. It came at just the right time since I am trying to figure out what wheels and tires to put on my 67. The equation was very beneficial.
