: Rear wheels which can fit under a 67 theflux May 10th, 02, 03:23 PM Has anyone here ever tried to fit an 18x9.5 w/ 5.5 bs in the rear? How likely would rub be with 35-40 profile tires on this combo? I am also curious about fitting larger than 9.5 rear wheel width, without serious modificiation. Anyone try this out? So I would say yeah they'll probably fit. But, I'de check with MarkM first because he knows alot more about rim/tire combo's than I do. I just cut the coils and we're putting the new rear-end in today so I haven't set the car down off the jacks yet...I had the rims and tires on it before but the front end sat a little high for my taste so my dad and I cut one coil off of the stock springs.
