Last time I posted this question, I just got a lot of comedians with stupid comments. Let me start fresh. Does anyone out there know what the bigggest wheel/tire combo is that I can fit under my 84 camaro. I am mainly interested in 15 or 16 inch wheels.
Thanks in advance.

Front and rear are the same: 17", 5.5" backspacing, 9.5" width, 275/40.

These numbers are from the ChevyHighPerf of Jan 2002. They state that this is with factory ride height and suspension. Hope this helps.

You can put an 15x8 with 5inch backspacing with a 275-60 tire on the rear. You might have to tap the front side of the rear inner fender in just a hair for clearence. There are a couple of 84's around here with that tire wheel combo and they look great. They run 15x5 wheels std offset and 205-65-15 tires on the front.Hope this helps.
