What would be best? I've heard 2 stories depending on who ya talk too. 10,000 GVW and above. I know radials don't like sitting in 1 spot very long with lots of weight so would a Bias be better? How about traking behind the truck? I've heard radials like to drift more but it depends on weight your dragging. I bought a 29' coachman travel trailer with questionable tires and I'm going to buy new ones.
Anybody here a tire god. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif

While I'm not a tire god, I have radials on my two-horse trailer. It sits most of the time. When I tow, it tracks nice and I feel radials are the way to go. Also, a load-leveling hitch made a world of difference, too.

Check out the load bearing rating of each and buy on price b/c you aren't riding in it.
If you want a decent ride control, then put good shocks on your trailer...

I do figure however that the old bias-ply tires will be cheaper in the higher ratings. pdq67

Bais-ply get flat spots from sitting too long and like to "track" the road <ie: sway>.I would talk to a trailer dealer and see what the have and sugest. 6 or 8 ply radials sound like the trick... but check with a tire /trailer dealer first<more than one> http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif
