Do a search, I know its not much help, but everyone and their mom has asked this question, including me. I have 16 inch wheels with 215/60 on the front and 265/50 on the back. YOu could probably use a 225/45 on the front and a 265/40 on the back i would guess. I would do a search though.

Toms69, How much and by what means did you lower your car to fill the gap in the fender wells? I'm getting ready to go to 17's on my 69.

I didnt really have a big gap....I went from 15's with BFG TA's that were 26 inches tall front and rear. The 17's with tries are 25 inches tall now.I have 2 year old 5leaf springs out back.26 inches from the rear fender lip to the floor.Only 1 inch gap there.Up front I put new Moog p/n#6041 springs and cut about 2 coils, dont remember exactly.Ended up with 26 inches from the lip to the floor.2 months later the front settled,I knew it would and it now sets 25.5 inches from the lip to the floor.Half inch gap.I like the way it sets now.I can e-mail you some pictures Big Sky if you like.
