Just had new tires mounted for the car. In the rear,we replaced the 245/60/15 with 255/60/15 on 8" rally rims with 4.5" backspacing. The front ,we went from 205/70/15 to a 215/70/15 on 7" rally rim with 4" backspacing. Haven't driven the car yet to see how everything works. Has anyone used this combo on their car?

Tried the 235/60/15's and had to much (for me) rake in the front.Chose the 215/70's to raise the front end and now have just a slight rake to the front end. These tires do fill the front wheel wells. By the way, isn't Springlake just outside of Fort Bragg?

What do you mean by rake? I know what it means when the term is applied to Motorcycles (the angle of the forks v.the frame)or a pistol (the angle of the rail v. the grip).
Yeah, just outside Bragg.

What I mean by rake is when you look at the car from the side, the front is slightly lower than the rear. The car does not sit level.
