I ordered my car and was asked about tires and wheels. So I said what was good cheap stock and ended up with Firestone D-70/14, redlines and steel body blue rims with dog-dish hubcaps!
I went right out and bought a set of 14" x 6" CRAGAR deep-dish, chrome reverse and put my redlines on them, but I have to admit that the rear tires didn't last very long.
I could idle out and get in it and turn them suckers over all the way through third gear!!!! And by that time I was way over the speed limit...
Heck, I still have the four OEM's with the dog-dish hubcaps in my basement... pdq67

The tires could have been ordered on any car (PW6) and were standard on SS cars. Check out: http://www.camaros.org/options.shtml#RPOSpreadsheet
