Guy's I'm looking to put redlines radials onto my car. I'm tossed up between putting them on a new set of vintage torque thrust rims or placing them onto the original ralley wheels. Any thoughts. Also I was wondering if any one has put a set of the new touring tire that has a redline around it. I think maybe GoodYear makes them although a search shows nothing. I seen them on a car at one of the national meets and never payed much attention to the brand. What ever my choice they must be red lines. Again any body buy any recently. I have visited Coker tire at Carlisle but would like to see some other option in manufacturers..

I would love a set of those red line tire's for my 67 , I have the factory steel wheel's and the full wheel cover hub cap's for mine would put the red line's on those and switch between the stock tire's and wheel's to my ralley's , what size redline's were on a 67 the list F-70's and G-70's ,

I think Coker bought the original Firestone redline tire molds but may be wrong??

And they might even own the old Polyglass tire molds too, but don't really know... pdq67

I put radial red lines on my car two years ago. Here is a link to the company I got mine from. They were good to work with and beat Cokers price.

Are they the sole source for redline radial tires?

I thought I had made my mind up on what tires I would be buying next year. I had never heard of redline radials before, however. Now I'm back to square 1: don't know what I'm going to get. I like the look of RWL better than redlines, but I like the uniqueness and vintage look that a redline tire would add. The option of getting a 235/60R15 in a radial is very tempting!

Thanks for the info.

The other day when I had to leave work early, I went by a brand-new T-Bird and, I thought I saw redline tires on it??? I went whooo, surely not!!

I thought I was seeing things, but please ask a Ford Dealer if what I thought I saw is right.

You may be able to buy modern redlines!!! And please come back and tell us what the Ford Dealer says.. pdq67

PDQ67, That's what I'm refering to. Someone is selling a Hi performance touring style tire that has a very small side wall, is redline, or gold line, and looks awesome. I searched Goodyear, Firestone, and all the others but nothing comes up. I seen these on a few new cars and they look outstanding. A vintage look with a nice radial ride and a touring look.. Maybe I will stop at a Ford dealer today and look and see if the new T-bird has them.

I guess I'm gonna have ta stop right in the middle of the road, jump out and eye-ball the suckers and get back to you the next time I see the little jewel!!

It kinda reminded me of the old Ronnie Milsap video about the guy taking his girlfriend to the Prom in a white '57 T- Bird and later, at the end of it, she's his wife and back to their 35th reunion or so in a brand new WHITE T-BIRD!!!

Quite some LOVE...

To me a real tear-jerker of a song and video!!! pdq67
