hey guys i have bfg ta/s on my 68 and my truck but they are not to good on wet roads .its time for a set on my wifes 79 t/a it has goodyear gt+4 a good all around tire but she wants white letters .i would like some of you guys input on experiences with your tires.and in your opinion which are the best.thanks jeff

Jeff, I use goodyear eagle II on my 69, they wear well and are good in the rain, you could do a search on this subject and find more on this subject...good luck Mike

got to www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) and look at their info on tires re treadwear, wet weather, style. etc. lots of good info and good prices.

i use bridgestone s-03 pole positions and they rock. they are really expensive though.

The Tire Rack web site mentioned above has real good info on tires. There is also a feedback function where people post their experiences with the tires. Last time I looked there was a line of Firestones with white letters for older cars that were well rated.
