Hello all,

This is my 1st post to the wheel&tire forum, so please excuse my lack of knowledge.

My Camaro currently has a set of standard wheels and hubcaps along with some ugly & skinny tires on it (That's the way I inherited the car). I want to put on a set of standard Ralleye wheels. What are the dimensions of Ralleye wheels?

I would like to have a set of 235 60R15 tires on the new Ralleyes.

Thanks,
Mark P.

You would need the 15x7 ralley wheel which was standard on a Z/28. Other models received the 14x7 wheel. A 235-60R15 will fit on that wheel. How correct do you want your car to be. To be correct it would have 14" wheels. All were 4.75" bolt pattern. I found that the best place to find wheels is at a swap meet.

Hey Kurt,

Thanks for the info. A nice set of 15x7 Z/28 Ralleyes would work for me! I wasn't aware that there was a difference between z/28 & non z/28 Ralleyes. I'll check out a local auto swap meet the next time it is held.

Thanks,
Mark P.

Look for a FW code stamped next to the valve hole. These came off of a 1969 z-28 and will have a 4 1/4 back space. They should not rub even if you decide to go wider with the rear tires.

The 15x7 "FW" wheels are not from a Camaro, they are from a Monte Carlo. The 69 Z/28 used "AD" coded early and "YH" coded wheels for later production. The earlier wheels would not clear the 4 wheel disk brakes so they were re-designed. The correctly coded/dated Camaro wheels are much more rare and expensive while the Monte Carlo wheels, which are functionaly/visualy interchageable, are very common and inexpensive by comparison. I would use the Monte wheels if you are not building a Concours resto.
