Hallo.
What is backspace and howe do I mesure it.

Backspacing is the distance between the mounting pad of the wheel and the inner most part of the rim. Also known as rear spacing. It can be easily measured with a ruler and straight edge.

it is another way of stating offset, only it makes more sense. it is easier- at least to us dumb Americans- to say am 8" rim has 4.5" of backspoacing, than to say that it has 15mm negative offset. we like our stuff already figured out for us.
