My question to anybody who could answer it is....why wouldn't 93 up camaro wheels fit on a 82-92 camaro? the bolt pattern is the same 5-4.75 and the hub size is the same and the lugs are the same...I can't see why they wouldn't work..does anybody know why? is the back spacing different? I'm talking about the 93 up stock wheels that are 16". thanks for any information anybody can give me.

Probably backspacing is way too deep???

Aren't they 5.5" or so??? Versus, 3.75" stock, First Gen.

I know my new Pony-Bullit's are 5.72" b/s.

That's why I am changing to two piece hubs. That plus my rotor thickness should be about right on the front and I don't think any problem on the rear!! pdq67

in 93, they went with the sealed wheel bearing in the hub, and for some reason or another, evrey car that has that setup needs a way deep wheel. i personally think they did it to make you spend more $$$ on custom wheels. either that, or they just don't want to see their newer style cars with junkyard bought old school rims like Keystone classics or Cragar S/S wheels on them.
