Will they fit the front with 2 inch drop spindles mounted on 245/50/16?

MarkM Jan 10th, 03, 09:13 AM They will fit fine in the rear, but the front may give you problems becuase of you drop spindles. I put a 17" wheel with only 4.5" bs, and I had to grind the tie rod some to get the wheel to fit. So a 16" wheel may even be worse. If you want a better fitting wheel, go with a 7" wheel in the front with only 4.25" bs. ------------------ 68 468 700R4, and here it is; mutert23 (http://home.earthlink.net/~mutert23/) 69dave Jan 11th, 03, 10:56 AM i had 245/50/16 on my car for years with 4.5 bs and stock small block springs cut 1-1.5 inches and no problems but its close!i just put on 17x8 4.5 with 245/45/17 and that fits great too!!every car is a little different though! chicane67 Jan 11th, 03, 08:14 PM I'm with Mark on this one.
