Anyone own one? Any special handling instructions when lowering and raising the top? I'll be going "topless" for the first time this weekend and didn't want to break anything.

I looked at one when I was shopping for mine. I watched THE OWNER put the top down. He didn't seem to do anything special. You may want to pay attention to the back window, make sure it folds in. I also believe there are supposed to be some locking clips to hold it DOWN while you're cruising topless down the freeway. Enjoy your drop top!!!

I have a power top now, but used to have a manual. The gm instructions say to make sure you pull out the pad on ea side and top when folding it down, so it doesnt crimp it.
Also, dont put the top down in cold weather. I found out the hard way and my plastic window cracked first time down!

I have a 69 with manual top. There's a clip on each side, sometimes broken, that holds the top down. I pay some attention to folding the back window when dropping and put a towel down to minimize scrathing.
