I have some factory 16" 3rd gen z-28 rims and I am wondering if they will fit on a '68 camaro.

Anybody know?

Yes, they will, but you either need to change your studs, or get specialty lug nuts.

Check out my homepage there's some pics of my car with them on.

Thanks for that info. I looked at your web page. The wheels on your '68 look like the 15" wheels, the wheels I have are 16" and look more like the ones on your old '84 z-28.

Nice '68 by the way. I am considering buying a '68, I have an '89 RS and have always prefered the 1st gens so I have finally decided to go that way.

Ahhh-- Right- The 16's that are in the 84 pic would not fit on my 68. That's why the 84 wheels ended up on the 68.

BUT, others here have said that the 16's will fit. The problem I had with the 16" wheels is that they have different backspacing from front to rear, and I belive when I tried to put the rear wheels on, they hit the shocks.

If you have the wheels, or have access to them, you might want to give it a try anyhow.
