Gettin ready to make the big purchase and just wantd to be sure that the numbers make sense. The car is stock height and for now I do not plan to lower it. I'm buying Cragar SS's and am planning on the following: Front 17X8 with 4.75 BS and 17X9 in the rear with 5.00BS. Can someone confirm the numbers as wll as recommnd tire sizes.

That should work just fine. I'd say either 235/45/17 or 245/45/17 on the front and 265/45/17 or 275/45/17 on the rear.

Talking to the folks at Summit Racing, they tell me if I want to go with 17X8 all the way around I could go 4.5" bs with he Cragar's. If I do this and go with a 235 or 245 tire, will it work?

So wil the 17X8 4.5 bs work? Front and back? I am picking these up tomorrow. The don't come with larger bs on a Cragar.

The 17X8 4.5 bs will work on the front and back, but your wheels will be pretty flush with the fender lips. I would go with a little more bs on the rear if you can get it.

I'm planning on using a 17X8 with 4.75 on the rear of my car. I tried on a wheel of this dimension and liked the fit, but my car is lowered. I also plan to use 4.5 bs on the front but with a 17X7 rim.

If you run 235s on the front you most likely wont rub at all. You could run up to 255s in the rear and be ok too.
