I had time to mount up one of my new rear 15's and took some pics. The old 14's were taller I think. There appears to be plenty of room but no gas tank in place yet either.
Just wanted to share some photos as many ask about clearance issues with different tires. These are also new Eaton 5 leafs on my 69 so the rear end is up quite a bit from the old tired leafs.
Next will be the front wheels, 215 - 60's

Looks good Jim! When are you going to have that old LM1 back on the road? I just finished swapping to an aluminum radiator, lincoln mark VIII fan, holley fuel pump and hydroboost power booster. Next is to install vintage air, but first I want to get to the track!

Hi Paul, I get to drive her to the paint prison on the 28th for new vinyl top installation and paint the tulip and top of rear fenders and back panel and grille. So between now and then I need to get the gas tank installed, floor painted, dash painted, maybe POR the Cowl area around wipers, then insulate the floor and install new carpet. Think I can do all that in a week? NOT. :D Im out of town May 1-4 so Im setting May 10 as target for first cruise thru town with the Mrs. Inauguration day of sorts. We get to wave at everyone again finally. graemlins/waving.gif
