I recall seeing a nifty product in one of the catalogs but I cant find it now. Does anyone recall who carries this?
Its a flat steel ring that mounts to the bolts that hold the center cap to the wheel cover. Then a cable comes from that ring and it bolted to one of the lug nuts. This prevents accidental loss of the wheel covers and hampers the theft of them.
I hope someone else recalls these.

Hey Click. I've been using them for years. They work real good. Look on page 546 of the new classic industries catalog. "Rally Wheel Cap Locks." $40 for a set of 4.

NPD also has them, $34.95 in my catalog. There are two part #, for 67's and for 68-70 caps.

Has anyone had a tethered one come off at speed? Did it flop around and do some paint damage? Or is the tether short enough as to not come into contact with body panels. That is the only thing that concerns me about them.

Might beat up a beauty ring. They're not long enough to reach the sheet metal.
