Im thinking about putting some new rims on my 67. Ive done searches and cant find the answer im looking for. I want to put 17 inch centerline rihnos or 15 inch weld pro stars. I want to run 8 inches all the way around. I just cant find what back spacing to use. I have for wheel drum right now but will be putting disc in the front with in the month. Any help would be appriciated.

Use 4.5 inch backspacing if you go with 15 x 8 Welds. I just put 15 x 8 Centerline Telestars on my car with 255/60/15 in back and 235/60/15 in front and had no problems.

I had 16 x 8 Wheel Vintiques ralleys before with 4.5 inch backspacing and 245/50/16 tires all the way around. No problems with those either.

I used 17 x 8 in the front with a 4.75 BS and 17 x 9.5 with 5.5BS with drums all round. I am also using 1/4" spacers to compensate for the discs that i will eventually put on. If you need any pics let me know and I will e-mail. graemlins/beers.gif
