i look in summit and jegs and see only 15x10 rims with the max of 5" of backspace. will that fit on the rear of my 69 with a 275 60 15? i have cut and hammered on my wheel lips, so i have about another 1/2 inch or more back there. I also see ralleys for sale with the same size as above for only $80 a rim. I have ralleys so buying 2 more rims would save on buying a whole set.

Its a crap shoot if you try to use 10" rims and 5" backspacing. The clearance between tire and the rear wheel well/ frame rail may be very tight. On my car there is only 11 inches of clearance between the rear wheel well and the inside fender lip ('68). I would suggest making a cardboard template of the tire width and offset of the wheel to see of there is going to be any clearance issues first!

I know there are plenty of people using 9" rims with 5" back and 9.5" rims with 5" back. Do they sell a 9" rim?
