I am looking to buy a matching Centerline for my spare tire. I have 255/60/15 on the back. A 205/75/15 is an exact match on that diameter, so I won't wear out the posi if a rear tire goes.
I'm looking at a 15 x 7 rim (max width for that tire is 7.5) with 3.5 backspace. That way, the wheel looks the same from the front as the 15 x 8 with 4.5 backspace that are on the car. I've drawn it out on paper and I don't think backspacing is an issue with a skinny tire and I already know that the 15 inch wheels will fit over the front disc calipers with no problem, so I should be ok. Am I missing anything here before I spend the $$ on the wheel?
