I have a 67 F-body witha 12 bolt rear. I'm in the process of mini-tubbing(3 inch) the car and relocating the shocks & springs inward to accomodate 335/30/18 inch tires. I'm not at the point where I can personally measure yet but just wanted to get an idea of how much I will need to narrow the rear end on each side to minimize the backspacing as much as possible so that I can have as deep of a dish on the 18x12 rear rim as possible.
Off the top of my head here, if your moving the everything in 3 inches with a 3 inch minitub kit(DSE kit) would you basically want to narrow the rear 3 inched on each side for a total of 6 inches or can it be narrowed even more to accomodate a real nice deep dish wheel??
Measuring will obviously yield the ultimate answer but I just want to run this by you guys first. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
Thanks, chris
