Hey guys,

I have a 69 Camaro that's lowered all around with Hotchkis and I have settled on a wheel/tire size combo that I want to use. The problem is I can't find any wheels I like in these sizes!

For everyone out there using 15x7 4"bs (235/60/15) and 15x8 4.5"bs (255/60/15), what wheels do you have and where did you get them??

I have a pretty basic style that I want, soemthign along the lines of a Centerline AutoDrag wheel or better yet the EagleWheels 055 model.

Anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to pay through the roof either for such a basic wheel style.

Steve, I just installed a set of Centerline Telestars (Terminator Series) on my '69. They make a 15x8 with both 4.0 and 4.5 backspacing. Summit part numbers are:

4.0 backspace = CLL-135804547

4.5 backspace = CLL-135805547

The 15x7 with 4.0 inch backspacing is CLL-135704547.

The 8-inch rims are both are $128.95 and the 7-inch rim is $119.95 - extremely good prices for such nice wheels. I used 15x8 with 4.5-inch backspacing on all four corners because I wanted all four wheels to be interchangeable.

I bought Firestone tires and the recommended rim width for the 235 was 6.0 inches to 8.5 inches, so you would have no problem using 8-inch rims all the way around. Also, there is no problem running 4.5 backspacing on the front.

Is your 69 lowered at all in the front? Just worried that the 4.5"bs might not fit correctly on mine since it's lowered all the way around.
