I just got 2 15x8 rally rims but they have only a 4 inch BS from inside center to outer lip. I want to put them on my 67 Camaro with a 265-60 or a 255-60. I know everyone say use a 4 1/2 BS. Will this work or should I get the 4 1/2 BS rims? The car is lowerd with Hotchkis front and rear.
Thanks, Matt.

Matt,

I think you are going to run into probelms with the fender lip rub with that wide of a tire, that shallow of a BS and the lowered rear end.

Do you have tires/rims on it now? You really should look for a rims with more BS to pull the tire/rim inboard move clearing the fender lip.

with 245/60r/15 the tires got cut on the outer edge by the wheel well lip.
15x8 Rallyes,by Wheel Vintiques, with different back space choices are available from
summitracing,i bought a pair with 5 inch back space and they were Perfect with the 245/60's,and i am sure 255/60 would be easy, and 275/60 a maybe,

I also have the hotchkis 3 leaf rear springs smile.gif
