I recently aquired (in a trade), an original pace car spare tire. It's 15" but I don't know how wide it is. I would like to order a new BFG and use it as a spare tire but not sure as to what the max/min size tire will fit. Anyone have an idea?

Possibly no production Z11 was built with 15" wheels. The track cars had JL8 which included 15" wheels; they may have been retrofitted JL8.

ZJ7 rally wheels were a mandatory option with Z11. Since Camaro SS equipment was also required the standard wheel was 14" x 7".

Interesting. It was in the trunk of my buddies pace car that he picked up so I had to assume that it was original. It looks like a ralley wheel, only more narrow. Maybe it's out of a Dodge or something graemlins/clonk.gif

It could still be a Chevy rally wheel. They were produced in a variety of rim widths and offsets. There should be a 2 character alpha code near the valve stem hole. Post it and someone will know what it is.
