View Full Version : What is the backspacing on 69 Z/28 rallys? 69 RS-Z Jan 1st, 04, 10:40 PM Hello, Does anyone know what is the stock backspacing on 1969 Z/28 rallys (15 x 7")? I must have measured wrong because I got 4 1/4. thanks Kelvin JohnZ Jan 4th, 04, 04:07 PM OEM's don't use "backspacing" measurements - they use offset (difference between the rim centerline and the wheel mounting surface). On a "YH" 15x7 '69 Z/28 rally wheel, the offset is +0.30", so the backspacing is 3.80" from the wheel mounting surface to the inside of the inboard rim flange where the tire bead seats (not to the outer edge of the rim flange). graemlins/thumbsup.gif 69 RS-Z Jan 4th, 04, 07:40 PM thanks! smile.gif |
