I need to buy some wheels to fit over the big corvette brake calipers. Will Cragar SS 16 by 8 wheels with 3.75 inch back spacing fit? I am open to any other suggestions.

they might clear the calipers, but with only 3.75" of backspacing on an 8" wide wheel, they might be hanging out in the breeze.
so far, i've had 3 different sets of wheels on my Nova with the 12" PBR setup- 15X7 1971 Z/28 rims, 16X8 IROC rims, and the current 16X8 GTA "honeycomb" rims. the 16's clear with no problems, but the calipers needed just a tad bit of grinding on the fins at the front and rear edges of the caliper to clear the 15" Z wheels. i haven't yet found another 15" rim to fit.
