I know you guys are fed up with this topic, but I can't find one with what I'm looking for. I'm getting ready to order the wheels for my car, I finally have the money saved up for them. I want to go with the 17" cragars, and am just making sure this combo will fit fine, and won't rub anywhere...
Front - 17X8's with 4.5" Backspacing
Rear - 17X9's with 5.5" Backspacing
I'd like to put 225/45/17 Nitto 555s in front and 255/45/17 nitto 555s in back...I just want to make sure this will work. Please, if it won't work, let me know.

sorry, one more thing...it's a 69 camaro with stock front suspension, and stock rear (except for vettebrakes fiberglass rear springs) sorry i forgot to mention that.

That setup should work if your suspension is in good shape (not sagging) and so long as you are not planning to lower the car later. If you plan to lower then you should try at least 4.75 backspacing on the front if not a full 5 inches.

I run 235/50s up front with 4.5 back on a 17x7 rim and 255/50s with 4.75 back at the rear on a 17x8 rim. My car is lowered and has no rubbing issues at all. A perfect fit imo.

Here is my set up. I just mounted my new tires (Kumho ECSTA MX) and wheels (Boyd Coddingtons Smoothie 2's) on my 67'. The motor is pulled so the front end is high. All drum but will be getting all disc's. I will lower the rear a tad. The pics aren't the best, kinda cramped in the garage for good shots.

Rear 17x10 5.75BS
Front 17X8 5.00BS

Jeff H- Well these same liks work on other forums just like they are. I took out the spaces here but it did not work? How did you do it? In the future when uploading pics I will do so without spaces.

You need to paste the link and your browser will insert some %20 to replace the spaces. Copy the new link from the browser bar and paste that in.
