I am running radial tires on my 67 vert. Setting the pressure according to the sticker in the glove box, they feel a little too soft. Should there by any adjustment to be made to the factory settings since I am using radials instead of the original bias ply tires?

Hey Victor - I run my BFGs at about 30 rear, 34 front - Have run them at 35psi - but believe that is max ...Hope this helps! Nick

What size BFG's are you running? Is your suspension stock?

I am running a rebuilt stock stuff, except for Edlebrock shocks. The coil and springs are original and my my tires are 215-70R-14 in the front and 235-60R-15 in back. I have got BFG's too. I know the tires are bigger but 24 or 26 psi cold as the glove box sticker says is just way too soft, I was figuring about four psi diff for the tire size difference. I was wondering if maybe radials were designed to run with higher pressures as compared to the old bais tires.

Are you running less in the rear for traction off the line (or light)?

What it says on the tire is the MAX pressure, you shouldn't exceed that. Radials do typically run at higher pressure these days, but when they first came out, they were run so soft they looked flat! But that brings up a whole 'nother question I've been dying to ask...

The max pressure on the sidewall of my Eagle F1's is 51 psi!!! Seems a little extreme. I'm running them at 36, but have no clue what's "right". does anyone?

My truck runs (original)275-55-20 Eagle LS tires. The tire says max pressure 44 psi. The sticker on the door says 30 psi. The tires got 35 psi in them right now.

Any tire pressure experts out there?
