I have always run a 275/60 on my 68's. It depends on the final ride height if you will need to trim the quarter lip or not. As well as what suspention you are using. Was talking to a guy tonight at a cruise who had a 67 that sat real low and he was running a 15x8 with 4-3/4 BS and a 275-60 BFG drag radial. His qarter lip was also trimmed about a 1/4". Each brand of tire is also different. Some give a little more room than others do. If you can keep a good 1" above the tire from the 1/4 it seems to be ok. Start adding passengers/weight the rubbing may start. I would plan on a trim if you want the low stance and a fat tire.

i am really lucky because i recently had the car painted and right before i sent it in i rolled the inside fender. i was planing on putting the regular bfg's. so i would have to get a rally wheel with 4.75inch backspacing.thanx for you help i apreciate it.
