My car came with a set of rims that are all the same. The tires are all the same size too. My problem is that the driver side front tire sticks out, so when I hit a bump the tire hits inside the fender wall. Any suggestions what might have caused the tire to stick out more than the other. Do you think the rotor might be different size?

Sure, It is an old problem that a lot of our cars have including mine!!
Seems that way back then if it fit by say a 1/4" to a 1/2" it was good enough for GM to sell..
My car has about a finger or so on the front and maybe almost two on the back, measured at the top of the tire and the wheel well chrome.. I think it is shifted to the pass. side but it's been a long time since I fingered it?? AND I don't wanna hear any finger jokes here..
My front drivers side used to get cut slightly b/c I had 7" wide rims and only 3.5" BACKSPACING SO IT STUCK OUT ABOUT 1-1/4" TOO FAR VS STOCK..
Stock is 3.75" b/s for 14" x 6" steel rims, all drum braked car..
Darn caps!!!

So, the key question is whether or not it can be corrected by loosening the bolts at the radiator support and the rear of the front frame rails. I spoke to an avid Camaro enthusiast at the Memphis Super Chevy Show earlier this year who indicated that the frame could easily be out by 1/4" on each side due to the slack in the well nuts that hold the rails to the body. If I understood him correctly, you could be out of adjustment by 1/2".
Now, how to get the body "in float" where you can pull the rails over......

put the car on a frame machine to really find out how far its off.
didnt cost much I had mine straightend to right on the money specs.
car drives straight, clearance on both sides is identical.
take a look

The tire rubbing on one side issue is a recurring question.

How much was it off and what did they charge?

mine was off by 1 1/4 inches.
frame machine cost 450.00 ( they used lasers to align front subframe)
I was told that when they are off even 1/4 inch chances are the car was involved in an accident.
heheheh nows a good time to get those subframe connectors on before the car goes on the frame machine.

I presume straightening the frame rails impacted body panel alignment?

Funny thing is that my S/F alignment holes checked fine!!
AND my springs in the rear are over about as far as I can get them in the stock location so I don't buy something being wrong with my car..
