I need to know what lug pattern i have cause i need to replace my 14" wheels with the 15x7s that were supposed to be on there.

My car is a 1980 Z28 if that helps.

Is it 5 x 4.5 or 4.75? That is the furthest distance between lugs right (across from each other)?

My lugs are 3" apart from the ones right next to each other.

According to my door sticker my tire size is supposed to be 225/70R-15, that means it came with 15x7s right? Just making sure.

Can someone explain to me how to measure lug patterns? Does anyone know what pattern fits my car? Also, can someone confirm my stock wheel size as being 15 x 7, or is it 15 x 8 (225/70R-15)? Thanks!!!

Chevy wheels are all 5 x 4-3/4" - try this site for wheel tech info/measurements, etc.:

graemlins/beers.gif Except the ones that aren't :D - like 1971~76 Full size and 1971~89 Wagons and some HD packages used on Police and Taxi. They are 5 on 5" pattern (shared by many other full size GM models).

All due respect to 'JohnZ' - Just trying to help if your in a Junk-yard looking for parts, some of the disc/drum/hubs/wheels won't interchange from full-size.

I think my 1979 Z had 15X7" rims - not sure if these carried over to 1980 or not.

Hey, thanks for the info JohnZ and Vintage 68, I found something that'll work. I appreciate that.

I have decided to keep the 14x7 wheels on the front and i am going with 15x8 wheels on the back, found these 15x8s at the junk yard off of like a caprice, or some big old sled. I needed to run the correct size wheels because i wanted my speedo to be correct, by having 15s in the back, mine should be correct now right?
